On 9 July 2026, the Greater Bay Area International Maritime and Commercial Mediation Centre (“MCMC”) officially announced its inaugural panel of mediators. Attorney Tan Yueqi (Vincent), an Equity Partner at Beijing Zhong Yin (Shenzhen) Law Firm, was appointed as one of the Centre’s first mediators in recognition of his extensive experience and professional accomplishments in international arbitration and cross-border commercial matters.

作为立足南沙、辐射粤港澳区域的商事争议解决枢纽，MCMC此次选聘竞争激烈，经公开招募、资格审查、综合评议等严苛程序，从来自全球20余个国家和地区的申报者中择优选录935名，评审维度涵盖专业资质、案例实绩及跨文化沟通能力，覆盖海事海商、国际贸易、金融及知识产权等核心领域。

Based in Nansha and serving the wider Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region, MCMC is positioned as a major hub for the resolution of commercial disputes. The selection process for its inaugural panel was highly competitive. Following a rigorous procedure involving open recruitment, qualification review and comprehensive assessment, 935 outstanding candidates were selected from applicants representing more than 20 countries and regions worldwide. Candidates were evaluated on the basis of their professional qualifications, track records in dispute resolution and cross-cultural communication capabilities, with expertise spanning key areas such as maritime and admiralty law, international trade, finance and intellectual property.

谭岳奇律师深耕法律实务多年，专注跨境投资、国际建设工程合同、国际贸易等领域，具备丰富的行业经验与国际视野。其先后于西南政法大学、武汉大学法学院、荷兰海牙国际法学院学习深造，2002年取得武汉大学法学博士学位。他曾任联合国国际贸易法委员会观察员，现担任包括新加坡国际仲裁中心、香港国际仲裁中心、伦敦国际仲裁院、瑞典斯德哥尔摩商会仲裁院、迪拜国际仲裁中心、亚太国际仲裁院、俄罗斯仲裁中心、中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会、中国海事仲裁委员会、深圳国际仲裁院、武汉仲裁委员会在内的多个重要仲裁机构的仲裁员，以及英国皇家特许仲裁员协会高级会员、欧中仲裁员协会会员；此外，他还是中国人民大学法学院法律硕士实务导师、香港律师会认证涉外律师、中国国际私法学会理事、武汉大学韩德培法学基金会理事，并获得2025 GRCD中国年度出海律师榜单、年度DAWKINS十佳出海律师、年度LegalOne粤港澳大湾区法律大奖：涉外法律服务律师15强、年度LegalOne实力之星：争议解决（仲裁）等多项表彰。

Attorney Tan Yueqi (Vincent) has been deeply engaged in legal practice for many years, with a focus on cross-border investment, international construction projects, and international trade. With extensive industry experience and an international perspective, Attorney Tan pursued legal studies at Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Wuhan University School of Law, and The Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands, and obtained a Doctor of Laws degree from Wuhan University in 2002. Attorney Tan previously served as an Observer to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, and he currently serves as an arbitrator with a number of major arbitral institutions, including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the London Court of International Arbitration, the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber, the Russian Arbitration Center, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration and the Wuhan Arbitration Commission. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Chinese European Arbitration Association. In addition, he serves as a Practice Mentor for Master of laws’ students at Law School of Renmin University of China , a Foreign-Related Lawyer accredited by the Law Society of Hong Kong, a Council Member of the Chinese Society of Private International Law, and a Council Member of the Han Depei Law Foundation of Wuhan University. He has received multiple recognitions, including the 2025 GRCD China Annual List of Outbound Lawyers, DAWKINS Top 10 Outbound Lawyers of the Year, LegalOne Greater Bay Area Legal Awards: Top 15 Foreign-Related Legal Services Lawyers of the Year, and LegalOne Rising Star: Dispute Resolution (Arbitration) of the Year.
